The Todd and I face a challenge when it comes to our radio show–we’ve been friends with you for over 15 years (for me) and 23 (for The Todd) in the Salt Lake City market. There’s certain products or services we won’t recommend on air because we don’t believe in them or they didn’t work properly. We always figured it was more important to keep your trust than to disappoint or even endanger someone with a puffed-up review.
So, yes: we DO try everything before we recommend it to you. We DO believe in the product or service or we don’t talk about it (sometimes, to our sales manager’s consternation). And last October, we started on Bioidentical Hormone Replacement with Enlighten Hormones. (Quick disclaimer: I am not being paid to talk about them here. We do receive free supplements for talking about them on the show. I’m discussing it here on That Went Well because so many of you in the TWW community have had questions.) If you’re over 35, have had a baby…your hormones are aaaalll stirred up. I was enduring early hot flashes, and had arthritis in my left knee so badly that I could no longer kneel on it. I’d battled all summer to lose weight and couldn’t drop an ounce. Flash forward to January: I’ve lost 30 pounds, I’m able to run again, the arthritis and hot flashes are gone and I’ve never felt better. I actually made The Todd go on the program because I wanted the same results for him–though I’m pretty sure he never had hot flashes.
I sometimes think as adults we start thinking it’s heroic to just “make it through the day.” I dragged myself through more than one afternoon with the twins when I would have liked to play more, but I was just too tired. It does not have to be this way. I recognize that I have the almost annoying evangelical zeal of the newly converted, but sweetie, it’s worth it! You can research bioidentical hormones and the studies behind them here. When you’re ready for a free consultation with Dr. Molly, call 801.294.9999. It’s crucial to have an experienced doctor’s supervision with this–Dr. Molly is a board-certified OB/GYN. I know this is helpful only to us here in this region, but if you’re interested, you can certainly call and ask for a referral near you.
This is one of the few things I can conclusively say has changed my life. And it’ll change yours, too.
