Eating Seasonally For Body, Health & Weight Loss. It’s interesting–there’s so much more to eating seasonably than frugality. Granted, it makes sense to buy what’s in season–it’s less expensive, it’s fresher, and thus will have more nutrients. But our bodies have evolved over the millenia following the seasons for sustenance. Nutritionists are now advocating following the same pattern. They’re finding better results for health and weight control.
