I’m excited for the return of the Living Traditions Festival in downtown SLC–so many different cultures showing their best in food, dance, crafting and more.  So much fun to introduce to your little people or try something new!  There’s also the promise of summer with the Sugarhouse Farmer’s Market.  Take a look and find out what’s close to you…

Friday:

Kid’s Story Time:

Friday Afternoon Films: SLC Library, Main Branch, 3pm, free

Snowbird: Plaza Deck Apres Ski Music: live music on the deck, 2pm, free

Craft Time: Toole City Library, 3:30pm, free

Sugarhouse Farmer’s Market: 4-8pm, free, Sugarmont Plaza

Living Traditions Festival 2014: starts today at the City-County Building, SLC  (Free admission, there are nominal fees for food and crafts.)

Morrissey In Concert: my teen years would not have meaning without this man.  Kingsbury Hall, 7pm, $55-70.00

Ghost Hunt at Antelope Island State Park: ready to find out what haunts the old buildings?  9pm, free.

Saturday:

Read To A Dog: the animals from the Intermountain Therapy Animals love to hear a story!  Draper Library, 8am, free

Adventures in Art: BYU Museum of Modern Art.  10am, and noon sessions.  Signup is required, but it’s free.

Oh, The Places You’ll Go!: special storytime at local Barnes & Noble stores with activities and crafts.  Free, 11am.

Living Traditions Festival: SLC City-County Bldg.  Noon-10pm.  Admission is free, cost for food and crafts.

Armed Forces Day: fireworks and music at the Gallivan Center, free admission, 9:30.

REAL SL vs. Colorado: our guys are the only undefeated team in Major League Soccer this season!  7:30pm, $20.00

Weekend Wiggle Time: stories that encourage movement and activity, SLC Main Library, 3pm, free.

To The Moon & Back: free exhibit at the Clark Planetarium, 12:30n-7pm
