Free Fishing Day: lots and lots of locations along the Wasatch Front to fish–and many provide free poles and gear to try it out.
World Refugee Day: Liberty Park, SLC. Come see the incredible diversity of cultures that makes up Utah. Free attendance, food and activities at a cost. 9:30am-3pm.
Summer Library Reading Programs: all the local ones kick off with parties today, from 10am and on. Free activities, crafts and fun.
Thanksgiving Point Wind Tunnel: come try this bad boy for free! Noon-1pm
Utah Pride Festival: kicks off today at 3pm at the City-County Bldg, SLC. 3-11pm.
SL Bees vs. Sacramento River Cats: 7pm. Smith’s Ballpark SLC.
REAL Salt Lake vs. Portland: 8pm, Rio Tinto Stadium.
Springville City Art Days: tons of events and activities, many are free. 10a-3p
Ogden Botanical Gardens: free garden tour to talk about what’s blooming. 9am.
