NBC’s Creepy Video Tribute To The Women Of The Olympics

Okay, this isn’t creepy AT ALL…

The 2012 London Games have been called the “Women’s Olympics” and rightfully so–the women have looked amazing–across the board, every country has someone to be proud of.  (Editor’s note: my personal favorite right now is our first Gold Medalist in Women’s Boxing–Claressa Shields.  She’s 17 years old!  Can you believe it?)

So, when NBC decided to make a tribute video called “Bodies In Motion,” we all thought it would be a lovely, respectful reivew of what these incredible women have managed to achieve, right?

Nope.

Even the athletes shown are complaining how “creepy” it is–slow motion shots of fannies and fronts barely clad in spandex.  And the music!  Good Lord, this hideous porn-soundtrack style thing that’s just…well…creepy.  NBC yanked the video after the outcry yesterday, but if you want to lose your appetite, here’s the salvaged video–click here to watch.  Or, maybe just go back and watch the US Women’s Soccer Team reaction to winning the gold again.
