We’re decorating with a frenzy this weekend–I can now spray the house with everything Halloween without looking like a lunatic to the neighbors.
Yes, they have their tasteful mums and pumpkin combos. We have the screaming ghoul emerging from the front lawn and 3 full-sized witches splatting against the roof.
One of my favorite things to do for a big impression are window silhouettes. I’ve noticed anything big enough to have an impact is pretty expensive to buy, but a cheap block of butcher paper and a good stencil and–voila! No need to buy. Click here for one of the best tutorials I’ve seen from Makezine, along with detailed instructions for every kind of silhouette you can imagine.
